Alex Western
Founder & Managing Partner
Alex is the Founder and Managing Partner of TCP, where he leads the firm's investment activity and serves on the boards of TCP's portfolio companies. Before TCP, Alex was an investment analyst at GMT Capital, a $5 billion value-oriented hedge fund. Alex began his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Co. and as a private equity associate with Audax Group.
Alex earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his AB from Harvard College.

John Ale
Managing Director
John is a Managing Director at TCP, where he evaluates and executes new investments and oversees corporate development and strategy for portfolio companies. Before TCP, John served as a General Partner and as a member of the investment committee at Noro-Moseley Partners, a software-focused growth equity investor. Before Noro-Moseley, John worked on the investment team at Marlin Equity Partners, a software-focused private equity firm. He began his career as an investment banker at Harris Williams & Co.
John earned his MS in Commerce and his BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.
Garret Flynn
Principal
Garret serves as a Principal at TCP, dedicating his efforts to qualifying investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, nurturing investor relationships, and assisting partner management teams. Before joining TCP, Garret led corporate development for PE-backed platforms Trilogy, Think3, and Versata. He also gained valuable experience in consumer and technology-focused venture capital, both as an investor and operator, as well as management consulting at D&H.
Garret earned his BBA from the University of Notre Dame.
Kerry Edwards
Vice President
Kerry serves as a Vice President at TCP, specializing in evaluating and executing new investments, as well as monitoring portfolio companies. Prior to joining TCP, Kerry held the position of Senior FP&A Manager at FieldRoutes, a Field Service software company. Before his role at FieldRoutes, Kerry served as a Senior Operating Associate in FP&A at Francisco Partners, a leading technology private equity firm. Kerry initiated his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey.
Kerry earned his BASc in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Derek Smith
Head of Business Development
Derek serves as a Senior Associate for TCP where he specializes in business development and deal sourcing with extensive experience in the software sector. Previously, Derek was Head of BD at Ambr Group, an e-commerce hold co strategy. He was also part of the Corporate Development team at Think3 and spent time in enterprise sales at SPS Commerce, a supply chain software company.
Derek earned his BSM from Minnesota State University.
Bobbi Kommineni
Operating Partner
Bobbi is a Co-founding Operating Partner at TCP, collaborating with portfolio companies to drive transformational change and optimize operations. Previously, Bobbi served as a portfolio company COO at ESW Capital, a prominent software private equity firm. Prior to her tenure at ESW Capital, Bobbi held the position of President at two non-profits, served as a Sales Engineering Director at Oracle, and worked as a Product Manager at Dun & Bradstreet. She commenced her career as a Solution Architect at i2 Technologies and a Software Marketer at Trilogy.
Bobbi earned her MBA from the University of Texas and her BS in Engineering from MIT.
Dragana Sevic
Operating Partner
Dragana serves as an Operating Partner at TCP, specializing in organizational and process design, recruiting, QA, SaaS operations, and professional services for portfolio companies. Previously, Dragana held the position of VP of Integrations at ESW Capital, a leading software private equity firm. Before joining ESW Capital, Dragana managed PMOs and IT transformations at Ereste Bank, Ahold Delhaize, Schneider Electric, and Hypo Alpe. She initiated her career as an economist for Serbia Electric Power.
Dragana earned her MSc from CentraleSupelec (France) and her BS from the University of Belgrade (Serbia).
Almir Kazazic
Operating VP
Almir serves as an Operating VP at TCP, focusing on aiding portfolio companies in optimizing product architecture and software engineering. Previously, Almir held the role of VP of Engineering and Operations at ESW Capital, where he oversaw engineering efforts. Before his tenure at ESW Capital, Almir served as CTO and chief engineer at three startups: 2yourdoor, Kraftwerk, and Abalodemia. He commenced his career as a technology consultant at ITdesign.
Almir earned his MS from Wien University and Graz University (Austria) and his BS from Webster Private University.
Erdem Ergin
Operating VP
Erdem is an Operating VP at TCP, concentrating on assisting portfolio companies in optimizing software engineering processes and practices. Before joining TCP, Erdem served as a Software Engineering Manager at ESW Capital, a prominent software private equity firm. Earlier in his career, Erdem held the position of Software Engineering Manager at VeriPark. He commenced his career as a software developer and progressed to become a software architect in the Telecommunication and Call Center sectors.
Erdem earned his BS from Bogazici University (Turkey).
Fuat Ulugay
Operating VP
Fuat is an Operating VP at TCP, concentrating on assisting portfolio companies in optimizing and automating infrastructure. Previously, Fuat served as a Site Reliability Engineering Manager at ESW Capital, where he managed infrastructure. Before joining ESW Capital, Fuat held roles as a software engineering manager at Skyatlas and Monitor Security, and served as CIO at SOCAR, a $20 billion investments company. He commenced his career as a developer and functional CRM Consultant at Basari Holding.
Fuat earned his BBA from Middle East Technical University (Turkey).
Corinne Devereaux
Operating VP
Corinne is an Operating VP at TCP, where she helps portfolio companies optimize their sales and marketing. Previously, Corinne was Head of Sales, NA at ins-pi, where she built out their enterprise sales strategy. Before ins-pi, Corinne was active in sales and marketing at ESW Capital, Quartzy, and Noteflight. Corinne began her career in operations at MIT Investment Management Company and Intellia Therapeutics (a CRISPR company).
Corinne earned her MM from UT Knoxville and her BA from Skidmore College.
Jody Foster
COO & Head of Compliance
Jody is the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Compliance at TCP, where she focuses on optimizing operational efficiency, managing compliance, and implementing strategic initiatives to support the Firm’s growth and investment strategies. Before joining TCP and founding Symphony Consulting, LLC, in 2010, Jody was a Senior Consultant at Sapphire Partners in London and held key roles at JPMorgan Asset Management. She began her career as an International Research Manager at Driehaus Capital Management.
Jody earned her MBA from the University of Chicago, her MPP from Georgetown University, and her BA from Pace University.
Claudia Williams
Head of Administration
Claudia is the Head of Administration at TCP, working closely with the MD and COO to streamline operations. With previous roles at Salesforce and The Home Depot, Claudia brings extensive organizational expertise to the team. Notably, she coaches the Georgia Tech Dance Team, enriching her leadership skills.
Claudia earned her BA from Valdosta State University.
